FAQs for Going Grey Gracefully with V For Hair
How long does it take to transition to grey hair?
The time depends on your current hair colour and length. Shorter styles can transition in 4–6 months, while longer, darker hair may take a bit longer with regular colour blending sessions.
Book AppointmentWill I need to visit the salon often?
Far less often than you do now. Once you are through the transition, most clients move from a six-weekly root appointment to a toner or gloss every three to four months. The whole point of a roadmap is to reduce the maintenance, not add to it.
Can grey hair suit my skin tone?
Yes — but the shade of grey matters. During your consultation we analyse your skin tone and natural undertones to choose between a cool platinum, a soft silver or a warmer beige blend. That undertone analysis is step two of our process for exactly this reason.
What if I don't like the grey shade?
Nothing we do locks you in. We build the plan in stages and adjust as we go, and the strand test means you see the result on your own hair before we commit to a full head. If you change your mind mid-way, we change the roadmap.
