The new salon opens on Wednesday 28 October 2026. From that day we’re trading from 1039 Colombo Street, and you can book online to secure your time.
What are the opening hours at the Colombo Street salon?
V For Hair is open Monday to Saturday, by appointment:

- Tuesday 8.30am–5pm
- Wednesday 8.30am–5.30pm
- Thursday 8.30am–7pm
- Friday 8.30am–5.30pm
- Saturday 8.30am–4pm

V For Hair is still a modern unisex salon with one focus: beautiful hair, created by highly skilled hairdressers who take the time to get it right for you. Is V For Hair still welcoming men?
Yes. We’re a modern unisex salon, and Fiko will keep welcoming his existing clients and new male clients for men’s haircuts, at his usual price.
What’s happening to VJ Barbers?
After 20 years, we’re saying goodbye to VJ Barbers, so we’ll no longer offer a full men’s barbering service, such as fades and beard work. Men’s haircuts continue with Fiko. Dedicated barber shops are now everywhere, and as our own business has evolved, we’ve chosen to concentrate our space, team and energy on the future of V For Hair. Thank you to everyone who made VJ Barbers what it was.
Are rebook deals and Bartercard still available?
Rebook deals are no longer available. Bartercard is accepted only for appointments with Caley and Maddie. All other services are priced by the stylist you choose, in line with our current salon pricing structure.
